BioCat-Roslev Project

Electrochaea Power-to-Gas Scale-up and Denmark Commercial Project: Electrochaea has successfully scaled its bio-methanation technology to 10 MWe with support from the EIC Accelerator Program and is applying a new commercial plant design for its first full-scale project in Denmark. The technology converts green hydrogen and CO₂ into renewable methane using proprietary biological methanation, and the updated plant design de-risked through scale-up will be used in the upcoming Danish facility. The commercial project is being advanced toward permitting, engineering, and financing with the goal of deploying large-scale renewable gas production to decarbonize energy and fuel supply using existing infrastructure.
