eM-Lacqa / E-CHO

Initiated in 2022 by Elyse Energy, Avril, Axens and IFP Energies Nouvelles, the E-CHO project is one of the most ambitious decarbonization projects in Europe. With a production of 88,000 tonnes of e-methanol for maritime transport and industry, 87,000 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuels and 28,000 tonnes of naphtha. Composed of two main units: eM-Lacq for the production of e-methanol and BioTJet for the production of e-biokerosene, E-CHO is located in the heart of the Lacq industrial basin.
