EnergyPark Hellesby e-Methane Project

RedRock Energy Ab, a developer of renewable energy projects, and Q-Power Oy, a Finnish technology company specializing in biological Power-to-Methane solutions, today announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) regarding the potential delivery of biological methane synthesis and liquefaction technology for the EnergyPark Hellesby project in Åland. The preliminary concept includes a biological methanation facility with an estimated capacity of 17 MW, capable of producing approximately 10,000 tonnes of e-methane annually. The facility would also include a liquefaction plant, cryogenic storage and truck loading infrastructure for distribution.
