Fjord PtX

Fjord PtX in Aalborg will use up to 585 MW of renewable power to produce green hydrogen and combine it with CO₂ from Nordværk’s waste-to-energy plant and water from Aalborg Forsyning to make up to 90,000 tonnes of eSAF per year, more than twice Denmark’s domestic aviation demand. The €1+ billion project, expected online by 2030, will recycle about 330,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually and supply surplus heat for 11,000 homes through Aalborg’s district heating network.
