Harjavalta

Finland's first industrial-scale renewable hydrogen production plant, located in Harjavalta, Western Finland, opened in 2025. The plant is also preparing to produce renewable synthetic methane. It contributes significant expertise both domestically and internationally, employing numerous specialists across various operations. The plant's electrolysis capacity is 20 MW, producing green hydrogen using renewable electricity. The electrolyzer is supplied by Sunfire GmbH (Germany), and the methanation unit by Q Power Oy (Finland).
