The former Cottbus-Drewitz airfield in the state of Brandenburg is currently being converted into an industrial park based entirely on the use of renewable energy and is now becoming the “Green Areal Lausitz “ (GRAL). Here we are planning to build a plant for the production of SAF (Sustainable aviation fuel) for the future of aviation. The electrolyser will be powered with renewable energy, enabling the final product to be of RFNBO-quality according to EU-standards.
