Jupiter 1000
Jupiter 1000 is France’s first industrial Power-to-Gas demonstrator (megawatt scale) located in Fos-sur-Mer (Port of Marseille / Innovex area). It converts surplus renewable electricity into green hydrogen (electrolysis) and e-methane (methanation from H₂ + recycled CO₂) for injection into the gas grid and storage. The demonstrator is led by GRTgaz / NaTran and involves a consortium of industrial and research partners.
