Hera Group and Pietro Fiorentini are teaming up on an innovative “SynBioS” power‑to‑gas project in Bologna that converts renewable electricity and sewage wastewater into green hydrogen, which is then combined with CO₂ from biogas to produce biomethane. The €10 million plant, located inside Hera’s largest wastewater treatment facility, is expected to reach 1 MW capacity and produce about 190 Nm³/h of green gas
