Synhelion Morocco eFuel Project
Synhelion has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, and the Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE) of Morocco. The MoU lays the foundation for the development of a renewable synthetic fuel plant with a planned capacity of 100’000 tons per year. Morocco’s Tan-Tan province in the region of Guelmim-Oued Noun, where the site for the plant has already been reserved, offers a promising location for the project, due to its renewable energy resources and favorable conditions for establishing a renewable fuel value chain.
