Teralta Brandon e-NG
Teralta’s Brandon, Manitoba e-NG project aims to produce synthetic natural gas from by-product hydrogen and recycled CO₂, leveraging existing pipeline infrastructure and targeting Canada’s first e-NG exports to Japan. The project is supported by key industrial partners: Chemtrade as the source of stranded hydrogen, Linde as part of the broader hydrogen and gas-processing ecosystem supporting project execution, and Tokyo Gas as a strategic downstream partner through the e-NG coalition and a prospective offtaker for Japanese imports. The facility represents Teralta’s flagship scale-up, designed to accelerate low-carbon gas deployment by combining methanation technology with established industrial supply chains and export pathways.
