Valdepeñas Project

Located in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real), the H2 Valdepeñas Project integrates on the same site renewable generation for the production of green hydrogen, biogenic CO2 production and green methanol production for its subsequent transformation, through the "Methanol to Jet" process, to e-SAF (sustainable aviation fuel). In addition, we incorporated an organic waste digestion process for the production of biomethane, reinforcing the sustainable use of local resources. Once in operation, H2 Valdepeñas will produce annually: (1) 65,000 tons of green methanol, for subsequent conversion into e-SAF. (2) 25,000 tons of e-SAF. (3) 50 GWh of biomethane.
