Arcadia eFuels has received an environmental permit for its planned e-fuels facility at Masnedø, Port of Vordingborg, Denmark. The project will convert captured biogenic CO₂ and renewable hydrogen into sustainable aviation fuel (e-kerosene) with by-products of diesel and naphtha. At full capacity, the plant will produce up to 66,000 tonnes of e-kerosene and 11,000 tonnes of by-products annually, supported by about 2,900 GWh/year of renewable electricity and significant seawater intake for cooling and process needs. CO₂ will be sourced primarily from a neighboring biogas plant, with provisions for marine import, while fuels will be transported via ship and truck. The facility, expected to begin construction in 2026 and start operations in 2029.
