ABH Biomethane Carbon Capture Project

Alsace has opened a biogenic CO₂ liquefaction plant developed by neustark and local partners, able to capture and liquefy 4,200 tCO₂ per year from biogas production. Methane is upgraded to biomethane for local energy use, while the captured CO₂ is liquefied and transported for storage in mineral waste streams, delivering negative emissions and supporting France’s net-zero goals.
