AffaldPlus Naestved Carbon Capture Project

European Energy and its subsidiary Ammongas, together with AffaldPlus and CarbonCuts, have secured prequalification under the Danish Energy Agency’s CCS pool to develop a full-scale CO₂ capture project at AffaldPlus’ waste-to-energy facility in Næstved. The plant will capture up to 150,000 tons of CO₂ annually from residual waste incineration. European Energy brings project development and value-chain integration expertise, while Ammongas contributes its carbon capture and liquefaction technology.
