AGC Calypso Cryogenic CCS

The CALYPSO project aims to deploy an industrial-scale Cryogenic Carbon Capture (CCC) system at AGC Glass Europe’s glass manufacturing facility in Belgium. The project will capture around 125,000 t of CO₂ per year, removing 95 % of furnace emissions and avoiding 1.2 Mt CO₂e over ten years of operation. The project integrates advanced carbon capture technology and makes use of nearby shared CO₂ transport and storage infrastructure.
