AGGREGACO2

AGGREGACO2 in Spain, led by Petronor with O.C.O Technology, will capture CO₂ from the Vizcaya refinery and combine it with incineration ash to make eco-áridos (construction aggregates). Starting in 2024, the plant will process ~22,000 t/y of ash, capture ~2,200 t/y of CO₂, and produce ~56,000 t/y of low-carbon aggregates with a footprint 16x lower than traditional materials.
