The Agogo CCS project, led by Azule Energy (a BP-Eni joint venture), is the world’s first deployment of post-combustion carbon capture on an FPSO, located offshore Angola. The FPSO features a pilot CCS unit alongside a combined-cycle power system that integrates gas turbines and steam turbines to generate electricity efficiently while capturing approximately 230,000 tonnes of CO2 annually
