Arkalon Ethanol Plant in Liberal, Kansas captures biogenic CO₂ from its fermentation process and supplies it via pipeline to CapturePoints’s Farnsworth Unit in Texas, for injection into deep geologic formations CapturePoint (was Perdure Petroleum) manages compression, transportation receipt, injection, monitoring, and verification of the CO₂ stream, with projected injection extending for more than a decade and cumulative storage volumes in the multi-million-ton range over the life of the project.
