Bayou Fuels

Bayou Fuels is a planned facility in Natchez, Mississippi, by Velocys that will produce about 36 million gallons per year of transportation fuels with negative carbon emissions. It combines biogenic feedstocks and biomass power with carbon capture and sequestration to avoid over 1.3 million tons of CO₂ annually. The plant has long-term offtake deals for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) with Southwest Airlines (15 years) and with IAG/British Airways (10 years.
