Bintulu LNG Carbon Capture Project

HYCO1, Inc. and Malaysia LNG Sdn. Bhd. (MLNG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to investigate a large‐scale carbon capture and utilization (CCU) project in Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. The initiative will explore converting CO₂ from MLNG into industrial-grade syngas (H₂ and CO) using HYCO1’s proprietary CUBE™ Technology, thereby displacing higher-cost natural gas feedstocks and producing lower‐carbon “blue” syngas. The targeted commercial deployment is scheduled for completion by 2029.
