Carbonova Demonstration Plant
Carbonova, based in Calgary, has been awarded CA$4.38 million from Emissions Reduction Alberta’s Advanced Materials Challenge to build a Commercial Demonstration Unit that will produce 25 tonnes of carbon nanofibers annually while utilizing over 50 tonnes of captured CO₂. The project covers FEED, procurement, and construction, showcasing Carbonova’s catalytic process that converts CO₂ and methane into high-performance materials for applications in batteries, plastics, and construction.
