CCS Holcim Romania – Carbon Hub CPT01

The Carbon Hub CPT01 carbon capture and storage (CCS) project will be installed at Holcim’s cement plant in Câmpulung, Central Romania. It will enable Holcim to produce 2 million tons of near-zero cement per annum from 2032. The EU Innovation Fund has selected Carbon Hub CPT01 for a grant to co-finance the capture installation, complementing substantial co-investment by Holcim and its partners.
