MCi Carbon and RHI Magnesita secured AUD $3.29 million to build the first CCU plant for the refractory industry at Hochfilzen, Austria. Planned for 2028, it will capture and convert 50,000 tCO₂ per year into negative-carbon mineral products using MCi’s mineral carbonation technology.
