Cenovus Christina Lake Pathways Carbon Capture Project

As part of the Pathways Alliance foundational project, Cenovus’s Christina Lake oil-sands operation would capture CO₂ from on-site steam-generation and production emissions, compress and meter the CO₂ into a Pathways lateral, and feed it into the Alliance’s proposed trunk pipeline to the centralized Cold Lake storage hub for permanent deep-saline sequestration.
