Connah’s Quay Low Carbon Power

Uniper is exploring the potential development of a new gas-fired power station with carbon capture technology at our Connahs Quay site which would be capable of providing around 1.1GW of low carbon power (and up to a maximum of 1.38GW). The proposed new power station would be developed in two phases, with an initial capacity of around 550MW. The proposed new CCGT power station with carbon capture at Connahs Quay would be able to flexibly and reliably generate low carbon power/
