Ecoplanta
Enerkem’s Ecoplanta project (El Morell, Spain) has reached Final Investment Decision (FID) and plans to process ~400,000 tonnes/year of non-recyclable municipal waste into ~240,000 tonnes of methanol using Enerkem’s gasification + synthesis technology. The facility, which is co-developed with Repsol, is expected to start operations in 2029.
