Energnist Esbjerg Carbon Capture Project

Carbon Circle Holding AS and Energnist CaptureCo A/S have signed a letter of intent to jointly develop a carbon capture project at a waste-to-energy facility in Esbjerg. The agreement marks an early-stage step toward deploying carbon capture and CO2 handling infrastructure in the waste sector. Under the proposed collaboration, the companies will work over the coming months to advance the project toward a full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) framework. The initiative is expected to centre on Carbon Circle’s modular CaCiMod™ system, although final technology selection remains subject to further agreements.
