Enfinium Ferrybridge
Nuada has launched a six-month pilot of its next-generation carbon capture technology at enfinium’s Ferrybridge-1 energy-from-waste (EfW) facility in West Yorkshire, marking the first industrial trial of MOF-based vacuum swing adsorption for EfW flue gas. The system captures CO₂ more efficiently and cost-effectively than conventional methods, and because about half of EfW feedstock is biogenic waste, it enables genuine negative emissions.
