Grandpuits Biorefinery

TotalEnergies is transforming its Grandpuits refinery in France into a zero-crude multi-energy platform focused on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and advanced plastic recycling. The project will include a 230,000-tonne/year SAF unit (startup planned for 2026) and a 10,000-tonne/year pyrolysis unit to convert plastic waste into feedstock, while reusing much of the existing refinery infrastructure.
