InBECCS
Evero’s Ince Biomass plant (InBECCS) has been selected by the UK government to enter formal negotiations as the nation's first BECCS (Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage) facility, aiming to both generate clean energy and permanently remove carbon emissions. The project will process around 170,000 tonnes of domestic waste wood annually to power over 100,000 homes, while capturing and storing about 217,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year via Mitsubishi Heavy Industry’s capture technology.
