KALiNA Clairmont

The Clairmont Power-CCS project is a natural gas combined cycle power facility with integrated carbon capture planned on a 160-acre site near Grande Prairie, Alberta. The site is designed to host one 170 MW net Power-CCS unit, capturing approximately 1,730 tonnes of CO₂ per day. The project will connect to the regional transmission network via a new 144 kV line and tie into the NGTL gas system through a new 40 km pipeline. Captured CO₂ is planned to be transported approximately 10 km to a nearby CO₂ sequestration hub for permanent geological storage.
