KALiNA Crossfield

The Crossfield Power-CCS project is Kalina’s largest planned site, located on 320 acres and designed to accommodate three or more 170 MW Power-CCS units. The project will leverage strong grid connectivity through three existing 240 kV transmission circuits and connect to the NGTL natural gas system via a new 10 km pipeline. Captured CO₂ will be transported approximately 15 km to access one of three nearby sequestration hubs, enabling high-volume carbon capture while supplying large-scale low-emissions power to Alberta’s electricity market.
