Spiritus
Orchard One
Spiritus has partnered with Prometheus Hyperscale and Casper Carbon Capture to develop a carbon-negative digital infrastructure campus in Wyoming, anchored by an initial $500 million investment and planned to scale up to 1.5 GW of IT-ready capacity for AI workloads, with first firm power targeted by 2026. The project will use Spiritus’s Orchard Power platform to supply reliable natural gas-based electricity integrated with point-source and direct air capture, with captured CO₂ permanently stored in Casper Carbon Capture’s permitted sequestration wells, making operations carbon-negative by design. In parallel, Orchard One, Spiritus’s flagship Carbon Orchard™ DAC project in Casper, Wyoming, is designed to remove over 1 million tonnes of CO₂ per year using modular sorbent technology, targeting costs below $100 per tonne. Together, these developments position Spiritus to deliver scalable carbon-negative power and large-scale carbon removal while supporting regional economic growth and energy innovation.
