Peterhead Carbon Capture Power Station

The Peterhead Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Project was designed as a full-chain system to capture CO₂ emissions from the Peterhead power station in Scotland and permanently store them offshore. The plan involved retrofitting the gas-fired power plant with a Carbon Capture, Compression & Conditioning (CCCC) facility, transporting the captured CO₂ via pipeline, and injecting it into the depleted Goldeneye gas reservoir in the North Sea
