Phillips 66 Rodeo Carbon Capture
Phillips 66, in partnership with Worley Group and the DOE, is designing a carbon capture system for its Rodeo Refinery hydrogen plant to capture over 190,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year with 90%+ efficiency. The project will evaluate three CCS configurations—targeting flue gas, PSA tail gas, and syngas—and conduct a techno-economic analysis to select the most cost-effective option. The selected configuration will undergo initial engineering design and a final TEA to prepare for potential future implementation.
