Project Speedbird

Project Speedbird is a planned sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel facility at Wilton International Site in Teesside, UK. It will convert imported ethanol into SAF and RD via LanzaJet’s alcohol-to-jet (ATJ) technology. The plant is expected to produce over 90,000 metric tons per year of SAF (o ~30 million gallons) when fully operational. The site development and engineering phases are underway, with construction expected in the coming years.
