Pulau Seraya Power Station Carbon Capture Project

YTL PowerSeraya is collaborating with two major Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) feasibility studies for its upcoming 600MW Hydrogen-Ready Combined Cycle Gas Turbine at Pulau Seraya. These CCS studies, which are co-funded by Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA), involve partners Air Liquide (for pre-combustion capture) and GE Vernova (for post-combustion capture) and aim to analyze the possibility of capturing at least 90% of the plant's carbon dioxide emissions. The overall strategy also includes a significant Advanced Turbine Efficiency Package (ATEP) retrofit project with Siemens Energy at its Taser Power Plan.
