Returkraft Kristiansand Pilot Project

Returkraft is testing membrane-based CO₂ capture technology, developed by Air Products, on its waste-to-energy / district heating facility in Kristiansand. The pilot, supported financially by CLIMIT (Norway’s R&D/ demonstration programme for CO₂ management), is evaluating how well membranes perform in real flue gas: measuring capture rates, CO₂ purity, membrane lifetime, and costs.
