Saint Joseph Ethanol Facility Carbon Capture Project

ICM Biofuels operates a 50 million gallon/year corn-ethanol biorefinery adjacent to LifeLine Foods in St. Joseph. During fermentation, the plant captures CO₂ as a byproduct; this stream is purified and sold into commercial markets including beverage carbonation, dry ice production, and industrial uses, alongside the site’s other coproducts. Poet CO2 Products markets the CO2 to food and beverage industries.
