Squamish Pilot Facility

The company built its first pilot plant in Squamish in 2015 and launched its existing innovation center in 2021. Carbon Engineering’s DAC arm in Squamish, British Columbia has purchased a 4.5-acre site to build a new direct air capture research and technology development facility. This facility will support expanded pilot-scale innovation and testing, complementing the company’s existing Innovation Centre and enabling next-generation DAC hardware development, expanded laboratory space, workshops, and offices.
