St Charles Clean Fuels

St. Charles Clean Fuels is a $4.6 billion blue ammonia and clean hydrogen production project in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, jointly developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Sustainable Fuels Group, which will use Topsoe’s SynCOR™ technology to produce low-carbon ammonia with significantly reduced carbon intensity compared to conventional production; the facility is designed for multi-million-ton annual output with carbon capture and sequestration incorporated, and aims to support clean energy and industrial markets upon becoming operational in the late 2020s.
