Suncor Base Plant Pathways Carbon Capture Project
As part of the Pathways Alliance, Suncor’s Base Plant would capture CO₂ from on-site steam generation, upgrader operations, and production emissions, compress and feed it into a Pathways lateral connected to the Alliance’s trunk pipeline, and permanently sequester it at the shared Cold Lake storage hub.
