Sundance Alberta Ash Reclamation

Carbon Upcycling, together with BURNCO Rock Products and Lafarge Canada, is piloting its technology in Alberta to transform landfilled coal fly ash into a high-performance cementitious material while permanently sequestering CO₂ from a natural gas power plant. The first phase will install a pilot-scale unit with BURNCO to demonstrate the process and validate the performance of the upcycled ash for lowering the embodied carbon of cement and concrete.
