Syncrude Mildred Lake Pathways Carbon Capture Project

As part of the Pathways Alliance, Suncor (and Syncrude operations where applicable) would capture CO₂ from on-site steam generation, upgraders and production emissions, compress and meter that CO₂ into a Pathways lateral which feeds the Alliance’s trunk pipeline, and permanently sequester it at the shared Cold Lake storage hub.
