Teck Trail Carbon Capture Pilot Project
Teck Resources has developed a Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) pilot plant at its Trail Operations metallurgical complex in southern British Columbia. The pilot is designed to capture carbon dioxide (CO₂) from flue gas produced at the facility’s acid plant and then evaluate utilization and storage options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
