Tourmaline Banshee Pilot Carbon Capture Pilot

The project will pilot a first-of-its-kind modular VPSA carbon capture system that can use both advanced Zeolite and novel MOF adsorbents, showcasing its potential for scalable deployment at small to mid-scale sources. Scope includes manufacturing, testing, shipping, and integrating the unit into Tourmaline’s Banshee natural gas compressor near Edson, Alberta. The system aims to capture ~4 t/d of CO₂, which will be recompressed and sequestered using Tourmaline’s on-site infrastructure.
