Dagger Draw

The Dagger Draw Metropolis AGI well is an acid gas injection (AGI) carbon storage operation associated with the Frontier Dagger Draw Gas Plant in Lea County, New Mexico under an EPA Subpart RR monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) plan. The well injects treated acid gas (TAG) streams containing CO₂ and H₂S generated during natural gas processing into deep carbonate formations including the Ordovician Ellenburger Formation for permanent geologic storage. The Metropolis well operates as part of a regional acid gas sequestration system connected to Frontier gas processing infrastructure and is designed for multi-decade injection operations followed by post-injection monitoring.
