Driver AGI #1

he Driver AGI #1 well is an acid gas injection (AGI) carbon storage project operated by Targa under an EPA Subpart RR monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) plan for permanent geologic sequestration. The project injects treated acid gas (TAG) streams generated from surrounding Targa-owned and operated oil and gas processing operations into deep subsurface formations for long-term storage. The Driver AGI #1 well is designed to safely inject up to 20 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of TAG, with a design life of at least 30 years. The target injection interval is within the Ordovician Ellenburger Group.
