Stakeholder Midstream

Estacado

The Estacado No. 1 well is an acid gas injection (AGI) carbon storage operation operated by Stakeholder Midstream as part of the Camp Viejo sequestration system. The well permanently injects treated acid gas streams produced during natural gas processing into deep geologic formations for long-term storage. Stakeholder anticipates increasing injection volumes up to approximately 19.7 MMscf/d at Estacado No. 1. The project has an anticipated injection duration of approximately 25 years beginning in 2019. The MRV plan establishes monitoring, reporting, and verification requirements under EPA Subpart RR to confirm permanent geologic sequestration.
