Gemah

The Gemah Carbon Storage Project in Indonesia is being advanced by Pertamina and partners as part of the country’s efforts to scale up carbon capture and storage capacity. The project focuses on utilizing depleted oil and gas reservoirs in the Gemah field in South Sumatra for permanent CO₂ storage. It aims to support industrial decarbonization in the region by providing large-scale sequestration capacity to accommodate emissions from multiple sources.
